“I’ve learned not to be ashamed of my anxiety, but it is a reality I deal with. I have to be intentional about where I put my energy, and serious about taking care of my body and putting the things I learn in therapy into practice. It’s not possible to do everything I’d like to be able to do, so I have to be gentle with myself.”
